This is a great farmers market. They are not the biggest bit they have great selection and quality foods. My personal favorite is the mushroom jerky yes you read correctly MUSHROOM JERKEY. IT IS EXTREMELY good you have to try it at least once.

I am an Indian and went to the market yesterday after a long time as I usually go to the Newark market. There was one guy Caucasian I believe was giving the sample cut fruits to everyone and right then when he saw me and my son he turned his face away. Not that I wanted to take the fruit from his dirty hands or from a jerk but it was hurtful the way he looked away as though we didn’t exist and I ended up buying fruits in another store where the guy was helpful and looked into my eye. He was not a racist unlike this guy. Why hate people when there is already enough hatred everywhere! Learn to treat everyone equally, may be take a trip to India to know how you feel accepted inspite of diversity. No one will buy from your store if you treat people lower than you! Respect is everything! Even in one other store the guy was very unfriendly. These merchants are not kind and don’t know how to treat their customers with dignity! I don’t think I will go to this market ever again cheap mentality people selling goods.

Hummus Haven was outstanding. Their Hummus was excellent, and we eat home made Hummus often. Great pita chips. The sales person was exceptionally helpful. Wish they were there more than just once a week. The rest of the weekly farmers market is good. I love the Beckmann's Bread stand. After the Farmers Market, we walked over to Apni Bazar to get some greens, half the price of the Farmers Market. Wish the Farmers Market was on other days also.
